Hey there, beautiful soul. How are you feeling?
Today I wanted to drop in and share with you on a really important topic, and it’s to do with energy healing and facilitation, but a very specific component of it. And it’s something that a lot of people don’t address, but actually it’s one of the most important things to be addressed.
Why do you need to know this? Because you may be a healer. You may not be. But I guarantee you this. At some point in your life, you’re going to be holding space for someone.
It could be a family member. It could be someone in the street. It could be some kind of weird situation that you never thought you’d find yourself in. But I guarantee you, if you don’t know how to hold space in this particular remit that I’m going to talk to you about, then you’re no good to anyone.
You see, most healers, most facilitators, they go through the training. They learn the modality. They’re told what to say, how to interact, what to do.
But it’s not all of it.
And what I’m about to share with you never really affects people until they get thrown right into the fire.
And we all get thrown into the fire at some point in our lives. Whether it’s in a relationship, whether we’re facilitating the healing of another human.
When you’re a facilitator, you can have all the confidence in the world. You can actually be a really good facilitator. You know the protocols. You know the way of facilitation. You know how to run the frequency, how to guide people through the breath work, whatever kind of facilitator you are.
But what happens when the human being that you’re facilitating the healing of decides to show you a depth that you’ve never been to yourself?
That shows you a level of anger. That shows you a level of jealousy. That shows you a level of despair, of destruction and chaos that you’ve never been to yourself.
How are you going to hold space for them? How are you going to meet them where they’re at?
Because you’ve never even met yourself in that space.
That makes you weak. It makes you vulnerable. It makes you a liability. It makes you dangerous.
And this is something that a lot of people struggle with.
No one wants to be called a liability or vulnerable or dangerous. I mean, the word vulnerable is great to be vulnerable in certain circumstances, but when you’ve not done the inner work and you’re vulnerable in that way, you become a liability.
So, I just want to clear that up, because actually vulnerability in its rawest form is a beautiful foundation for growth.
But to be completely raw and vulnerable, you’ve got to go to those deepest depths.
And what I’m talking about here is the depths that most people won’t go to in that raw authenticity.
Doing their own inner shadow work, the grief, the anger, the rejection, the betrayal.
If you’ve not gone down to the depths in your own inner workings and met yourself at the deepest possible level, how are you going to facilitate the healing of another human being that is there?
You’re going to struggle. You’re going to get torn apart.
And what I see out there in the world is so many humans wanting to be facilitators, going and taking these courses, going and taking these trainings, but shirking their responsibility when it comes to the inner work.
We’re supposed to be helping people, but we can only help other people if we help ourselves first.
Just like on the plane, they get the adult to put the oxygen mask on before the children, because if the adult can breathe, it can be of service to the child.
If you’re not doing the inner work, you’re starving yourself of oxygen and those carbon dioxide levels are building. The system’s getting clogged.
Everybody wants to be a facilitator until they have to sit inside their own grief, their own anger, their own rage, their own fury, frustration, resentment, darkness inside the healing session, because it’s being mirrored back to them by the client they’re working on.
Whether it’s an individual session or a group session, it’s being mirrored full force.
What are you going to do if you’ve never been there and met yourself there?
Healing isn’t performance, it’s presence. Sacred presence.
And how can you dive into the grief of another human being and help them through that process if you’ve never allowed yourself to break?
If you’ve never been brought to your knees, ended up in a puddle of tears on the floor, facing your own shadows, sitting with them, not running from them, sitting with them, and getting to know them?
And as you get to know them, you befriend them, you alchemize them, you bring them into healing, and they become part of your arsenal.
Because the true art form of a Jedi is dark and light in perfect balance.
You cannot hold someone else’s rage if your nervous system collapses under the intensity of what’s unfolding in front of you.
Your nervous system has to be safe. It has to be regulated. It has to have been trained under pressure.
It must maintain coherence and balance in all circumstances.
This requires deep inner work, deep shadow work.
Your depth sets the limit of their depth.
If they go deeper than you’ve ever gone, you won’t be able to hold them.
But when your depth is expansive, when you’ve been deep into your own consciousness, they can go there safely in your presence.
There’s a difference between someone who has done the work and someone who has just taken courses.
People don’t respond to your words. They respond to your regulation.
They feel your presence. They feel your fear. They feel your love.
Their nervous system recognizes everything.
There’s no shortcut.
The next level of your leadership is hidden in the parts of yourself you’re avoiding.
So, make a decision now. Commit fully to diving into your wounds, into your inner world, and healing what’s there.
This is the way.
Most people avoid it. They bypass the grief, the anger, the rejection.
But once you know, you know. And once you know, you can’t un-know.
If you choose to ignore it, that’s your choice. But you’ll never serve at the level you want to.
You might think you’re helping people, but you’re limiting them.
Don’t limit them. Don’t limit yourself.
Love yourself enough to do the work.
When you do, you’ll be able to hold space for anyone.
I’ve trained thousands of people across many countries. I’ve seen people go out and cause chaos because they didn’t do the inner work.
And I’ve seen people go out and heal thousands because they did.
It’s a choice.
No one can make it for you.
If you found this useful, share it with others.
Stay connected, keep learning, keep growing.
This is your space. This is our space.
We’re a community on the same journey.
Remember, don’t take life too seriously.
It’s a cosmic joke.
Have fun with it.
ONE LOVE. ONE HEART. ONE HUMAN FAMILY. PEACE OUT, BEAUTIFUL SOUL
